“Warm Christmas -- Raising Fund for poverty”
A fund-raising activity, “Warm Christmas” was held in CCC. Mong Man Wai College on the 21st December, 2007
The purpose of “Warm Christmas” is to raise funds in order to help the poor. After deducting the expenditure from the funds, half of them will be allocated to the emergency funds of the school, the other half will be donated to the Rebuilding Collapsing Schools Project of Hong Kong Christian Council helping the school reconstruction of the poor children in China mountain area.
On that day, there are approximately twenty five counters for fun fair, food and games. Besides that, there are also functions in the playground. For instance, environmentally-friendly fashion show, pop dance by a professional dance group ”Companion”, a talent show and the band show from (CCC Leung Faat Church). The day climaxed with these exciting performances.
Throughout the activity, about fifty students from a primary school came to our school and shared the happiness. A local Canto pop singer, also an alumnus of the school, Casey Tse Man-nga arrived and enjoyed the atmosphere of Christmas.
Warm Christmas was conducted successfully and ended joyously.
